This recall includes Lamaze Chill Teether manufactured by TOMY International. The recalled teethers can be identified by item number Y5288L, UPC 071463052882 and production codes E1920ALP01 and K1920ALP01.
Why is it being recalled?
The liquid filling could promote the growth of bacteria (i.e. Sphingomonas) and poses a potential microbial hazard to the end-user in a few tested items. The bacteria is usually harmless, but may cause an infection in children with weakened immune systems if the item is punctured and the liquid filling is ingested. TOMY is conducting a voluntary recall as a precaution

Yes, please immediately take the recalled product away from children.
